In an unprecedented show of star power, Salman Khan’s much-anticipated film ‘Tiger 3’ has hit the ground running with a Tiger 3 Advance Booking, selling a staggering 1.42 lakh tickets and accumulating a hefty Rs 4.2 crore well before it hits the silver screen.

The film, which promises high-octane action and drama, saw an overwhelming response with Hindi 2D shows selling 1,38,804 tickets across 7,231 shows, and Hindi IMAX 2D shows contributing another 2,713 tickets over 109 shows. A modest performance was noted in Hindi 4DX showcases, which sold 513 tickets over 52 shows this Sunday. This surge in ticket sales underscores the unparalleled charisma of Khan and the enduring legacy of the ‘Tiger’ franchise.

With Maharashtra leading the charge with Rs 1.47 crore in sales, closely followed by Delhi, Telangana, and several other states, the frenzy surrounding ‘Tiger 3’ is palpable. The Indian film trade portal Sacnilk highlighted that major multiplex chains like PVR Inox and Cinepolis have recorded sales of 56,100 tickets in just one day.

Film critic and trade analyst Sumit Kadel projects an impressive day one box office opening around Rs 40 crore, suggesting that ‘Tiger 3’ could be on its way to shattering records. Kadel anticipates a “huge ruckus” at ticket counters, with theaters possibly needing to schedule midnight shows to accommodate the demand.

On the digital front, ‘Tiger 3’ has notched approximately 407.8k likes on BookMyShow, signaling a robust digital interest, although it trails behind the likes garnered by Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathaan’ at their release dates.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Tiger 3’ is the latest addition to the YRF Spy Universe, promising to deliver a narrative that blends elements from its predecessors ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’, and ‘Pathaan’. The film reunites the dynamic duo of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, with Emraan Hashmi and other notable talents joining the espionage saga.

Set for a global theatrical release on November 11 and across India on November 12, ‘Tiger 3’ is poised to offer a cinematic spectacle in standard and IMAX formats, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film is bracing for a box office clash with Brie Larson’s ‘The Marvels’ and southern offerings like Karthi’s ‘Japan’ and Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Jigarthanda DoubleX’, setting the stage for a gripping box office battle.

With the excitement at a fever pitch, the Indian audience is all set to witness Salman Khan in his most fierce avatar yet. Will ‘Tiger 3’ rewrite the rules of the box office game? The numbers already seem to be telling a roaring tale.
