The rock music scene is buzzing with excitement as the renowned band, Creed, has officially announced their Creed Reunion 2024 tour, set to cover 40 cities across North America. After over a decade of hiatus, this tour marks a significant comeback, leaving Indian fans hopeful for an extension to their shores.

Creed, known for their massive hits like “One,” “Higher,” “With Arms Wide Open,” and “My Sacrifice,” had a glorious run in the late 90s and early 2000s. Their 1999 sophomore album, ‘Human Clay,’ has sold a staggering 11.7 million copies, according to Luminate. The band members went their separate ways in 2012, focusing on individual projects and leaving fans yearning for more.

Frontman Scott Stapp shared his enthusiasm and readiness for the reunion, stating, “I feel like I’m as strong as I’ve ever been vocally, and looking forward to sharing the stage with the guys again. The fans have clearly let us know they feel it’s long overdue. I want to give them what they deserve. I’m ready to bring it.”

The 2024 Summer of ’99 tour, under the production of Live Nation, is set to kick off on July 17, 2024, concluding on September 28. Along the journey, Creed will be joined by an impressive lineup of support and guest bands. While 3 Doors Down is slated for direct support for the majority of the tour, Daughtry, Switchfoot, Tonic, and Big Wreck will also make appearances on select dates. Finger Eleven is confirmed to open all dates during this reunion run.

In a special highlight, the tour will pause for Creed to headline the inaugural Summer of ’99 and Beyond Festival in San Bernardino, California. This festival is set to corral the openers from various legs of the tour and introduce a few additional special guests, promising a memorable musical extravaganza. Fans can expect to see 3 Doors Down, Daughtry, Finger Eleven, Fuel, Vertical Horizon, and The Verve Pipe at the Glen Helen Amphitheatre on August 31.

Guitarist Mark Tremonti expressed his excitement for this event, stating, “Summer of ‘99 and Beyond Festival in San Bernardino is going to be so special for all of us. It is giving us a chance to bring performances from the cruises and tours together in one location. That show is going to be a highlight for us next year.”

Creed had initially announced their return to the stage with the Summer of ’99 cruise, scheduled for April 18-22, 2024. With an overwhelming response, the band added a second cruise for the following weekend, both of which are now completely sold out.

This reunion tour has sparked excitement worldwide, and Indian fans are eagerly awaiting news of the band possibly extending their tour to include performances in India. With a rich history of iconic performances and chart-topping hits, Creed’s 2024 reunion tour is undeniably one of the most anticipated musical events in recent times.

After hitting hits including “One,” “Higher,” “With Arms Wide Open,” and “My Sacrifice,” Stapp, Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips disbanded as a touring group in 2012. Their 1999 follow-up album, Human Clay, has sold 11.7 million copies worldwide, according to Luminate.
